A slew of sales of fine jewelry is taking place over the next week, at auction houses Bonhams, Christie’s and Sotheby’s, in Hong Kong, London, and New York — just in time for the holidays and gift-giving season.

A collection of Art Deco treasures by Cartier— including an enamel and gem-set tiger bangle and ring suite, circa 1965 — are just some highlights of Bonhams’ ‘Fine Jewelry’ sale on December 4 on New Bond Street, where three lots boast royal provenance, having formerly been in the collection of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowden.

Similar highlights await at Bonhams New York’s ‘Fine Jewelry’ sale, four days later, on December 8. Look out for lots like a Cartier belle époque natural pearl and diamond bracelet, circa 1915, or a rare antique Renaissance Revival suite of sapphire, demantoid garnet and enamel jewelry by Louis Comfort Tiffany for Tiffany & Co., circa 1920.

Meanwhile, all eyes will be on Christie’s 'Magnificent Jewels' auction on December 10 in New York. On offer will be more than 300 lots, ranging from rare, colored and colorless diamonds, giant gemstones, natural pearls, signed and period jewels, from iconic jewelers as Boivin, Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, Fouquet, Graff, Harry Winston, JAR, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels. The two-session auction includes prices ranging from $1,000 to an eye-popping $10 million.
