Top-level chefs and decorators show off their latest creations for the menu and decor of the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards that will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Famed chefs including Suki Sugiura and Thomas Henzi are in charge of the gastronomical fare for the upcoming awards on January 13. Sugiura describes the feel for the menu, “this year the concept is contemporary global taste with California flair.”
Guests will start with a contemporary Mediterranean dish, before a main course of ocean trout and braised short rib. And for dessert, a special Mango Gusto.
Along with the three-course menu, guests will enjoy a Moet & Chandon 2004 Grand Vintage Brut Champagne, as well as a mixed drink featuring the champagne, called the‘Moet Golden Night.’
That’s been mixed by celebrity chef and entertainment expert, Aida Mollenkamp, “the Moet Golden Night, which is really inspired by the Golden Globes themselves, we wanted to keep that golden color, and what it is, is a combination of cardamom simple syrup, pear brandy and Moet & Chandon Imperial Champagne.”
The menu wasn’t the only thing unveiled at the Beverly Hilton - floral arrangements were also on display.
And, rather unsurprisingly, the theme for this year’s Golden Globes is gold.
