Miami 2012: Our Massive Calendar of Events, From Openings to Late-Night Art Life

If, like most of the art world, you’re still sorting through the details of your imminent arrival in Miami, trying to figure out how to get to the best parties, and still manage to see some art, we’ve got you covered. Herein, ARTINFO presents our ultimate event guide for Miami, from openings, lectures, and films, to couture shopping and late night debauchery. The list is long and very ecclectic — the list of fairs and ongoing events is at the end — and while we’ve done everything within our power to ensure accuracy, parties and other events are subject to the whims of many, so check back for our daily itineraries as the week goes on. Our staff has also interspersed a few picks throughout, to give a sense of what we find most intersting amid the madness. (If you have an event you would like to see listed, write sroffino[at]artinfo.com.)

“Peter Anton's roller coaster installation promises to be deliciously and ridiculously decadent with Art Miami visitors hurtled through a land of the artist's trademark giant confectionaries.
