Six Dealers on What They Brought to Art Stage Singapore, and Why

Art Stage Singapore — which runs till Sunday January 15 at the city-state’s Marina Bay Sands resort — is aiming to rival Art HK for the hearts and minds of gallerists and collectors who are focussing on Asia. The fair, now in its second year, is just one part of Singapore's strategy to challenge Hong Kong's dominant position as Asia's art market hub.  

But Hong Kong gallerists, far from feeling threatened, are embracing the new market and are flocking to Singapore this weekend.
